Our mission is simple: to enhance the physical, mental and spiritual well-being of others through guided movement, breathwork and meditation on the water.

We believe the holistic benefits of a nature infused yoga practice should be accessible to everybody. Whether you’re a beginner, a seasoned practitioner or simply just drawn to the water - we’ve got you!

WHY SUP YOGA?

  • Self Care

Yoga is a practice of self-care. When you bring it to the water, you are enhancing the nourishment of the body, mind and spirit.
Not only are you building strength and increasing flexibility but you’re soothing your nervous system, decluttering your mind space and indulging your innate desire to experience oneness with the natural world around you. Hand in hand, yoga and Mother Nature provide the space to heal, restore and grow.

  • Balance

Practicing yoga on a paddleboard takes balance to a whole new level. The unstable surface of the paddleboard requires continuous engagement of core and stabilizing muscles while sharpening proprioception, your body’s awareness of its position and weight distribution.

Steady breath, steady mind, steady body.
Remember your breath is your guide and your true anchor - it will always keep your grounded.

  • Mindfulness

Just like our phones and computers, the mind often has too many tabs open resulting in scattered concentration and feeling overwhelmed. But once on the water, it’s ever-changing yet subtle movement will invite you to close all the tabs and float into the present moment. It encourages you to slow down, connect to your breath and let go of habits that keep you from moving with intention.

  • Community

We hold space for you to come just as you are and aim to build an inclusive commUNITY by bringing people together in a unique and supportive environment - one that that fosters connection, support (more lifting each other up, please!) and growth.

  • the WATER

Research gathered by Dr. Wallace J. Nichols, marine biologist and author of The Blue Mind, supports the theory that water has a profound influence on our mental and emotional well-being. But that’s something most of us already know and feel, without ever having learned the science behind it. When you’re in or near water - whether it’s the ocean, a lake, a river or even a stream - do you ever notice how engaged your senses become and just how
    good you feel?

We invite you to embrace the beauty of your surroundings as you explore and nurture your connection with the water.
